Soft Maple – Sup Sap Curly grade is designed and pulled specifically for white color and heavy figure . Each soft maple figured board has minimum of 100% white in the cuttings yielding 83 1/3% using 3×7 & 4”x5’ cuttings on the best face and averaging 70-80% white on the reverse face yielding a minimum of 66-2/3% clear face cuttings with minimum cutting sizes of 3” x 3’ or 4” x 2’. Each board requires a minimum of 80% figure in the cuttings on the best face. We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
