Alder Com #2 Grade Lumber is designed to yield shorter cuttings, with best face yielding 50% clear-face cuttings with sound backs. Alder Com #2 minimum cutting size – 3”x 2’. Alder Com #2 is good for finger joint applications and small specialty items. We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
