Western Species & Grades

Northwest Hardwoods Alder Econo #3 grade 4/4 and 5/4 are appropriate for shorter frame components, core stock and finger joint blocks. Alder Econo #3 thick stock is appropriate for short turnings and sound frame parts. We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
